Rally Level 1 – Sundays at 2:45-3:45pm, starting January 5th for 8 weeks. This class will take place indoors at Ruffin It Canine Club.
The goal of this class is to teach you and your dog the foundation skills you will need to perform full exercises at the Novice and Advanced levels of CKC Rally, and the Novice level of CARO Rally, with a focus on proper handler mechanics and building behaviours which your dog can perform reliably without still requiring food lures or excessive prompting.
All dogs entering this class must be non-reactive to dogs and people. Disruptive behaviours such as barking and whining throughout class may result in removal from class without refund. All class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Pre-requisites: Successful completion of Intermediate Obedience thru Ruffin It is not required but strongly recommended. Dogs should have basic skills such as loose-leash walking, sit, down, stay, and the ability to focus on the handler in the presence of other dogs and people.
